Real-Time Positioning Method for UAVs in Complex Structural Health Monitoring Scenarios

UAVs are becoming increasingly used in the field of structural health monitoring, and position information them during tasks is crucial. However, complex scenarios such as bridges high-rise buildings, GNSS positioning method cannot obtain positions UAV all time due to blockage satellite signals multi-path effects. This paper proposes a real-time address issue combining total station. The first locate when it not line sight station, coordinates transmitted station for blind tracking through conversion. then directly track flies GNSS-denied area appears view Experiments show that shift from direct can be guaranteed conversion error always less than range even if only two common points In addition, high accuracy achieved monitoring scenarios.
